Canada Day Blog Hop

Canada Day Blog HopMy claim to fame is that I wrote the first (and maybe only) romantic suspense novel dealing with Canada’s diamond industry. Yes, Canada actually has several northern mines that produce top quality, best-in-world diamonds. Who knew?  In fact, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories is known as the Diamond Capital of North America.

Diamond Hunter (formerly Diamond Lust ) explores what happens when a beautiful geologist gets into deep trouble one summer at a fly-in only diamond mine out in the arctic tundra, hundreds of kilometres from civilization. When desperate diamond smugglers decide Petra needs to be neutralized, her only protection is a hunky RCMP officer with the Diamond Protection Unit, undercover as a pilot.

Read more about Petra’s complicated physical safety and romantic situations in the Daddy’s Girl post below.

In honour of Canada Day I’m giving away a print copy of Diamond Hunter to a randomly selected person in the U.S. or Canada who can correctly tell me in a comment what the initials RCMP mean. Here’s a hint:

RCMP

For a chance to win, please comment by midnight June 30. Don’t worry if it takes a few hours to appear – I have one of those websites that requires me to approve all comments first.  The winner will be announced on Canada Day, July 1.

For those who don’t win, Diamond Hunter is available from e-book retailers.

Thank you Chrystal of Snowdrop Dreams of Books, Carmel of Rabid Reads, and Aislynn of Stitch, Read, Cook for organizing this Canada Day Blog Hop.

Happy Canada Day!
